About Us

We're Jenn and John, owners and photographers for Moments Shared Photography.

We believe that a photograph isn't simply a piece of paper that has been processed in chemicals and tacked on your fridge. A photograph is a physical representation of a chemical process that happens between a couple, a mother and baby, a father and daughter, a dog and his best friend . . . an image of love, laughter, sadness, admiration, silliness, you name it, that image is a reminder of the people we love and the events in our lives that happen with those people.

We are given an opportunity to share our knowledge of photography with you by capturing these moments in your life and the people you shared them with in a way that you will cherish for always: a groom's hand reaching up to wipe away his new wife's tears of joy, parents documenting their child's milestones; these are the moments we want to help you share.

We love photography and the ability we have in this technology age to really share our goings-on with friends and family with such ease. We also love stunning photography, images that really show the best side of you, the perfect pinpoints in time just they way you remember them. We love the look on a couple's face when they see their wedding images for the first time. It's as though they are reliving that wonderful day all over again. We love what we do because it allows us to be a part of moments in someone's life that a lot of people don't have the privilege of experiencing.
